The Mission

To become a mature service provider as PSS and with that be able to support volume growth (country onboarding) several Assisted Channel Business services need to be provided. 2.2 billion transactions (SEPA, Instant Payments, international payments, direct debits, etc.) are processed per year using our central PSS platforms. Assisted Channels Business Services closes the gaps between the STP way of working within these platforms and the operational requirements of our customers.

Your day-to-day

• You will design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain high-quality software solutions;
• You will develop (complex) new functionality and coordinate its implementation in the production environment;
• Automation is part of our and your DNA: anything that can be automated is automated, from the start (deployment, functional testing, technical testing, etc);
• You will be responsible for both the functional and technical support of the application.

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience:Minimum 7 years of Java software engineering experience (design, develop, and maintain) with a technical architecture mindset;

• Experience in Java 17, JAX RS, Jersey, Spring Boot, Kotlin, and other Spring frameworks such as Spring Batch, JPA;
• Very good understanding of cloud-based platform Openshift / Kubernetes;
• Solid knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools such as AzureDevOps, Git, Maven;
• Strong knowledge about HTTP, REST API’s, mTLS, and JSON is crucial;
• Experienced in No SQL – Cassandra;
• Good knowledge of Elastic, and Kafka;
• Experience in writing the Unit Test and integration tests using JUnit, and Karate Framework;
• Passionate about Open Source technologies;
• Good knowledge of Linux and Docker;

• Foreign languages: Good communication skills in English;
• Education: A University degree in Computer Science.
