We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.

Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs Romania and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.

The Mission of the Transformer

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite challenging when comes to targets. Your daily challenges will involve clusters of multiple teams. You take Leads at the hand in reordering to enhance flow in the Delivery Lifecycle process, bridging gaps, and eliminating waste to propel us towards our objectives. As a Way of Working Coach, you play a pivotal role in hosting Lean transformations, facilitating improvement plans, and bridging the gap between the current conditions and our transformational targets. You are only satisfied if way of working processes are end-to-end efficient. At the same time, you are not afraid to raise issues and to remove organizational impediments and are willing to roll up your sleeves when needed to help through tough challenges of operational excellence. You take multiple teams together through the transformation with Systemic coaching using different lenses of a Lean Consultant, Change Agent and Trusted Advisor beyond only a trainer, mentor, professional coach. Meanwhile you are relevant by generating and scaling up new re-usable expertise and WoW concepts for the organisation in the context of Software Delivery environment and Operations, so that our whole organization benefits to grow its performance.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • We are looking for candidates with a bachelor or master’s degree, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic Way of Working optimizations, and proficiency in Lean management techniques. Your IT background will enable you to seamlessly connect engineering with Lean efficiency practices;
  • Hands-on experience in implementing Transformations on company level across business and tech with multiple teams at the same time.
  • Demonstrate your hands-on experience in implementing company-level transformations and showcase your relevant Agile/Lean certifications. Your ability to self-motivate and scale projects with large groups on different organizational levels is crucial for success in this role.
  • We need a highly organized, thorough, and motivated professional who understands the dynamics of being a strong leader in facilitating change for large groups. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in steering our organization towards continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills are paramount for effective communication and presentations. Your ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner will be crucial in driving our transformational agenda.

This position is based in Bucharest and (international) travel, is part of the role. Be ready to bring your expertise to different corners of the globe, contributing to our organizational growth beyond geographical boundaries.
