Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Architecture Expert Lead to join our Customers & Data Architecture Team, reporting to the Chief Architect.

The responsibility of this team consists of guiding the organization in the definition and application of the technology strategy in the Customers & Data areas, by designing the architecture and working together with the Tribe Leads and the rest of tribe members.

You will be leading a team of architects with different areas of expertise, with a strong functional acumen in the customer, data, AI, KYC and marketing domains and deep technical understanding. This team is also in charge of managing all architectural aspects of data, including the translation of business and strategic requirements into an information architecture.

You will have to create a culture of collaboration, transparency, responsibility, and excellence, helping other to be successful, staying a step ahead and guiding architects in your team to improve and grow.

You will lead the co-creation of the Architectural Designs at different temporal horizons, defining the target architecture, the foreseen transitions and the next iteration, considering both the business and the technology strategy and combining Global and Local systems. You will also contribute to the roadmap definition, providing guidance to the business and delivery leadership and assessing the impact of the main initiatives at the inception phase.

You will hold the role of Enterprise Architect as well. As part of this role, you will have to ensure the consistency and coherence of the tech landscape in the company, keeping it aligned with the strategy and ensuring tech transformation happens in a daily manner by working closely with Tribe Leads.

Your key responsibilities:

As an Architecture Expert Lead you will:

Lead the Customers & Data Architecture team, supporting and developing its members through effective knowledge sharing and guidance, and promote the ING culture.

Ensure team members have appropriate competencies and skills by continuous improvement of their skills, craftsmanship and the area of expertise.

Provide guidance to engineers, managers and architects to improve their skills, by defining design patterns and best practices.

Foster the use of standards across the Architecture CoE, contributing to the improvement of the whole team.

Analyse market trends and derive the relevant and for the future necessary adjustments in the craftsmanship.

Positively contribute to the vision in the Architecture CoE, introducing and nurturing innovation within it.

Co-create and define technology strategy and reference architecture.

Guide the team in creating designs that fulfil functional, non-functional risk and security requirements.

Ensure target state definition and roadmapping to help company evolve, working hand-by-hand with Tribe Leads, minimising technical debt and waste.

7+ years of experience in architecture teams.

3+ years of managerial experience within an agile organization.

Ability to operate at own initiative with a pro-active attitude, within the directions and confines of management and bank policy.

Ability to liaise with a broad range of people, including line management, senior management, external suppliers and related people.

Problem solving ability and strong analytical skills.

Good communication skills. Fluent English both written and oral.

Accuracy and attention to details.

Experience working in a team, exhibits clear behaviour of a team player execution driven.

Este equipo también es responsable de gestionar todos los aspectos arquitectónicos relacionados con los datos, incluida la traducción de los requisitos de negocio y estratégicos en una arquitectura de la información.

Tendrás que crear una cultura de colaboración, transparencia, responsabilidad y excelencia, ayudando a otras personas a alcanzar el éxito, anticipándote a las necesidades y guiando a las personas arquitectas de tu equipo para que mejoren y crezcan profesionalmente.

Liderarás la co-creación de los diseños arquitectónicos en diferentes horizontes temporales, definiendo la arquitectura objetivo, las transiciones previstas y la siguiente iteración, considerando tanto la estrategia de negocio como la tecnológica, y combinando sistemas Globales y Locales. También contribuirás a la definición del roadmap, proporcionando orientación al liderazgo de negocio y de delivery, y evaluando el impacto de las principales iniciativas en la fase de inception.

Además, asumirás el rol de Enterprise Architect. Como parte de esta función, deberás garantizar la consistencia y coherencia del entorno tecnológico de la compañía, manteniéndolo alineado con la estrategia y asegurando que la transformación tecnológica se lleve a cabo de forma continua mediante una estrecha colaboración con las personas Tribe Lead.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Architecture Expert Lead:

• Liderar el equipo de Customers & Data Architecture, apoyando y desarrollando a sus integrantes mediante una efectiva transferencia de conocimiento y orientación, y promoviendo la cultura de ING.
• Garantizar que las personas del equipo dispongan de las competencias y habilidades adecuadas mediante la mejora continua de sus capacidades, craftsmanship y áreas de especialización.
• Proporcionar orientación a personal de ingeniería, management y arquitectura para mejorar sus habilidades, definiendo patrones de diseño y buenas prácticas.
• Fomentar el uso de estándares en todo el Architecture CoE, contribuyendo a la mejora del conjunto del equipo.
• Analizar las tendencias del mercado y derivar los ajustes relevantes y necesarios para el futuro en el ámbito del craftsmanship.
• Contribuir positivamente a la visión del Architecture CoE, introduciendo e impulsando la innovación dentro del mismo.
• Co-crear y definir la estrategia tecnológica y la arquitectura de referencia.
• Guiar al equipo en la creación de diseños que cumplan los requisitos funcionales, no funcionales, de riesgo y de seguridad.
• Asegurar la definición del estado objetivo y la elaboración del roadmap para ayudar a la evolución de la compañía, trabajando mano a mano con las personas Tribe Lead, minimizando la deuda técnica y el desperdicio.

¿Qué buscamos?

• Más de 7 años de experiencia en equipos de arquitectura.
• Más de 3 años de experiencia en posiciones de gestión dentro de una organización ágil.
• Capacidad para actuar por iniciativa propia con una actitud proactiva, dentro de las directrices y límites establecidos por la dirección y las políticas del banco.
• Capacidad para relacionarse con una amplia variedad de personas, incluyendo management de línea, alta dirección, proveedores externos y otros grupos relacionados.
• Capacidad para resolver problemas y sólidas habilidades analíticas.
• Buenas habilidades de comunicación. Nivel fluido de inglés, tanto oral como escrito.
• Precisión y atención al detalle.
• Experiencia trabajando en equipo, demostrando claramente una actitud de colaboración y orientación a la ejecución.
