Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic KYC Analyst to join our KYC Ops Retail Banking Team of Know Your Customer Tribe for a maternity cover until February 2025.

The responsibility of this team is to ensure all customer due diligence measures are met during the different CDD events (onboarding, CDD review, etc.), aligned with local and global standards. Our way of working requires skills in process monitoring and improvement, teamwork, attention to detail, accountability and proactivity.

Your key responsibilities:

As a KYC Analyst you will:

• Be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence on new and existing customer to ensure completeness and consistency of customer knowledge and assess their suitability and adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations and ING Policy.
• Monitor the proper performance of automated processes.
• Identify areas for process and procedure improvement and ensure compliance with local and global standards.
• Positively demonstrate analytical skills and data mindset.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals, being a team player with flexibility to address arising needs.

• University Degree.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
• 1+ years of professional experience in similar position is a plus.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills as well as analytical skills and data mindset.
• Possess drive with a ‘can do’ attitude. Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances and an ability to prioritize.
• Focus on delivery on time with attention to detail.
• Recognize important information, ability to research and make connections.
• Good knowledge and autonomous use of MS Office, with special emphasis on MS Excel.
