Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Trade Finance Services Expert (TFS Expert) to join our WB CSD Lending and Ops Team of BW CSD

The responsibility of this team is the management of Trade Finance Services Products, Bank Guarantees and SBLCs, and our way of working is focused on the comprehensive process ( E2E process ) with close relationship with Corporate Clients and Clients based on ING Network.

Your key responsibilities:

As a TFS Expert you will:

• Positively contribute to Growth of Business via support to TFS business.
• Delivery of Bank Guarantees, - Drafting, reviewing and analyzing guarantee and SBLCs wordings issue,  amend and renewals of domestic and cross-border guarantee/SBLCs, , contact with customer, handling commissions.
• With each issuance or amendment, you will be responsible to check that it meets the approved conditions by risk and the parameters set in the guarantee contract.
• To structure and discuss the counter guarantee when the issuance in a different country than Spain and Portugal will be made by a third bank.
• Monitoring of the portfolio of guarantees.
• Screening and checks for compliance purposes and related reports
• Booking into local core banking systems and reconciliation support
• Acting as customer contact point and handling customer requests.
• Able to structure and advise on complex Trade related transactions.
• Brings ideas on how to improve and refine the Trade Finance processes.
• Keeps up to date with industry developments relating to Trade Finance business.
• Provide support/expertise to areas of business by taking the lead and being responsible such as but not limited to organizational/operational/process management tasks.
• Guided participation in projects (process- and system improvement, training, and engagement activities).
• Back ground in other Trade Finance products like Export and Import Documentary Credits or Collections will be considered
• Ad hoc testing of trade finance system applications as per group requirements at any given time
• To be able to work and be exposed to a complex, dynamic and international financial environment with a close relation to the day-to-day Trade Finance business

What are we looking for?

• Wholesale Banking / TFS experience (at least 2-3 years in a similar role and  with knowledge in URDGs 758 and ISP 98.
• Passion to build and manage client relationships.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written (additional language is a bonus, but not required)
• Possess drive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Team player / ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances and an ability to prioritize.
• Focus on delivery on time with attention to detail.
• Recognize important information, ability to research and make connections.

Estamos buscando a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para el puesto de Trade Finance Services Expert (TFS Expert) para unirse a nuestro WB CSD Lending and Ops Team of BW CSD.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es la gestión de los productos de Trade Finance Services, Bank Guarantees y SBLCs, y nuestra forma de trabajar está centrada en el proceso integral (E2E process), con una relación estrecha con Clientes Corporativos y Clientes basados en la red de ING.

Tus responsabilidades claves:

Como TFS Expert tú:

• Contribuirás positivamente al crecimiento del negocio a través del soporte al negocio de TFS.
• Te encargarás de la entrega de Bank Guarantees: redacción, revisión y análisis de wording de garantías y SBLCs, emisión, modificación y renovaciones de garantías/SBLCs domésticas y cross-border, contacto con la clientela y gestión de comisiones.
• Con cada emisión o enmienda, serás responsable de comprobar que cumple las condiciones aprobadas por Riesgos y los parámetros establecidos en el contrato de la garantía.
• Estructurarás y discutirás la counter guarantee cuando la emisión en un país diferente de España y Portugal sea realizada por un tercer banco.
• Monitorizarás la cartera de garantías.
• Realizarás screening y comprobaciones para finalidades de compliance y los informes relacionados.
• Registrarás operaciones en los sistemas core banking locales y darás apoyo en reconciliaciones.
• Actuarás como punto de contacto con la clientela y gestionarás sus solicitudes.
• Serás capaz de estructurar y asesorar en transacciones complejas relacionadas con Trade.
• Aportarás ideas sobre cómo mejorar y perfeccionar los procesos de Trade Finance.
• Te mantendrás al día de los desarrollos del sector relacionados con el negocio de Trade Finance.
• Proporcionarás apoyo/expertise a áreas del negocio liderando y siendo responsable, entre otras, de tareas organizativas/operacionales/de gestión de procesos.
• Participarás de forma guiada en proyectos (mejora de procesos y sistemas, formación y actividades de engagement).
• Se valorará experiencia en otros productos de Trade Finance como Export and Import Documentary Credits o Collections.
• Realizarás ad hoc testing de aplicaciones de sistemas de trade finance según requerimientos del grupo cuando se solicite.
• Trabajarás y estarás expuesta/o a un entorno financiero complejo, dinámico e internacional, con relación estrecha con el día a día del negocio de Trade Finance.

¿Qué estamos buscando?

• Experiencia en Wholesale Banking / TFS (al menos 2-3 años en un rol similar y con conocimiento de URDGs 758 e ISP 98).
• Pasión por construir y gestionar relaciones con clientes.
• Habilidades sólidas de organización, planificación y gestión del tiempo, así como habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
• Dominio del español y del inglés, tanto verbal como escrito (un idioma adicional es un plus, no un requisito).
• Actitud proactiva y orientación al “can do”.
• Capacidad para trabajar eficazmente en un entorno de equipo diverso.
• Capacidad de lograr resultados incluso en circunstancias difíciles y de priorizar adecuadamente.
