Stage in Sector&Specialized Lending

ING Bank NV, a Dutch International Bank, is searching for a young, talented resource to work within the Milan based Sector&Specialized lending department.
The resource will join a team of 5 and will report into the Head of Sector&Specialized Lending Italy.

Responsibilities
The Sector and Specialized Team supports in the origination and leads the execution of complex project & structured transactions in Energy, Real Estate and TMT and Healthcare sectors, with strong collaboration with internal teams such as Credit Risk Management, Legal and Deal Execution and regular interactions with clients, advisors and internal stakeholders.

The resource will provide support to the team members in daily activities, supporting the team in i.a.  analyzing transaction structures and assist in preparing business comparables, develop and review financial models, including sensitivity analysis, drafting of credit approval packages and support due diligence process, as well as supporting deal closing activities and coordination with back-office teams.

The resource will be required to work within a challenging environment which could be stressful as well as enjoyable.

Requirements
Economics or Management Engineering degree. Dedicated courses on financial analysis and previous experience in similar roles will be a plus
Proven analytical skills and good knowledge of MS office tools – particularly MS Excel

Strong commitment, team work attitude, freshness of approach and fluency in Italian and English are an absolute must

Duration
The internship will have a tenor of 6 months full time and is related to an educational purpose only. There is no guarantee or expectation that such activity will result in employment with ING.
