ING Hubs Philippines started in 2013 under the name of ING Global Shared Operations, offering in-house processing services for financial markets, lending, and trade and finance services (TFS) to some of ING’s Wholesale Banking branches in Asia.

As of 2023, ING Hubs Philippines counts over 4,800 employees and offers over 286 services to 40 countries in the ING global community, providing Retail Banking operations, Wholesale Banking products, IT engineering, global KYC, risk and finance services, data and analytics, legal services, centralized people services, and more.

Core Banking

The Core Banking area drives the execution of the Core Banking strategy across ING. Our BusDevOps teams support seven ING units and their key transformational and regulatory programmes by enhancing, maintaining, and operating Profile, which provides a standardised and harmonised AMS functionality for the retail products. Our teams create and grow their portfolio of global products and services, such as AMS APIs and Profile Run, and guide nonProfile countries on their transformational road towards Core Banking strategy.

Payment Applications

Our BusDevOps teams are valuable contributors to the global ING payment capabilities, and demonstrate deep knowledge of the field, ranging from understanding the ING payments chain to understanding regulations (e.g. Payments Control Framework, PSD2), to integrating various channels and products, running reliable and scalable solutions, dealing with specific risk and compliance requirements, creating and maintaining standardised solutions design.

Global Products

The Global Products area is centred around diverse products and solutions that are used across multiple ING units. Our DevOps teams focus on the configuration, integration, automation, and the operations of third-party solutions customised for ING; nonetheless, they also develop and maintain in-house applications to ensure scalable and sharable solutions across different ING units.
