Senior Finance Manager – Global Operations, Working Capital Solutions

Are you a seasoned finance expert with a passion for global operations? Join our dynamic Working Capital Solutions (WCS) team at ING Wholesale Banking/Transaction Services, where your expertise in setting up and running administrative organisations and processes will drive our success.

You become a member of the Product Management WCS team and report to the Head of Product Management Trade. You are part of the global network, stimulating cross-border collaboration and alignment with all the parties that need to contribute to the success of the WCS business: Finance, Treasury, Risk, Payments, and the WCS Value Chain (Trade Advisory and Structuring, Delivery, Tech, and Operations). In future, this role may evolve into a global process role in the Chief Operating Officer Trade domain.

The WCS Product Management team is responsible for the commercial performance of the Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance products. We have an ambitious growth and transformation strategy:

• Doubling the business in 5-7 years
• Implementing a global target operating model (TOM)
• Implementing a new technology platform and replacing the current legacy system
• Become a leading bank in the fast-changing context of WCS

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ledgers, accounting, funding, risk, payments, reconciliation, and reporting policies, standards, and processes.
• Oversee global finance operations (Europe, Asia, United States).
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations and maintains operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic finance and operations initiatives to optimise our Working Capital Solutions business.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform management decisions and strategy development.
• Create differentiating customer and employee experiences.
• Supervise and lead the finance operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in the Wholesale Banking sector and/or shared services industry. Experience with WCS is a pre.
• Proven track record in implementing and streamlining global finance operations in complex organisations.
• Tech savvy, strong proficiency in core banking technologies and systems.
• Strong stakeholder management. You get people on board and ensure necessary buy-in.
• Self-starter and team player. You take the lead and empower others towards delivery and success.
• Simplify and streamline solutions and processes. You are curious and always looking for improvements. Experience with global Target Operating Models (TOMs) and/or lean business concepts (black belt) is a pre.
• Protect our license to operate by secure and flawless 24/7 operations while ensuring regulatory, risk and control compliancy.  
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Fluent in English.
