Mission

The core of the Tech Services Management team is to support the ING Tech management in running technology as a business, by understanding ING’s Bank and technology strategy and aligning the investments in technology. The team is providing advice on making decisions on the effective and efficient suppliers contracting in line with the ING bank and technology strategy and internal ING control policies and full insight on the drivers for technology strategy and get same understanding of partnership strategies and suitable suppliers, while ensuring the existing governance guidelines are supported by clear processes.

Your day to day

The Tech Service Level Manager will manage strategic partnerships ensuring ownership of all involved internal parties and clear and smooth communication with the external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

  • Is responsible for managing the Tech partnership contracts and governance, providing support in new acquisitions or reviewing the existing ones
  • Perform periodic review of the vendors performance based on set SLAs, set and follow-up actions;
  • Establishes vendor strategy and sets direction for Tech Leaders
  • Provides insight in Tech used technologies and propose new opportunities in line with the group Tech strategy;
  • Ensure that all contracts are compliant with regulatory, IT security standards and EBA requirements;
  • Acts as a single point of contact in relationship with the Tech related vendors
  • Is identifying potential risks in relation with the IT related providers and propose measures to manage these risks;
  • Involved in services / goods receipt confirmation process, being the single point of contact between the providers and ING departments
  • Interact with Procurement on new acquisitions or reviewing the existing ones.

What you bring to the team

  • Expertise in contract/ vendor management capabilities, with at least 3 years work experience in this area;
  • High level of adaptability - learn continuously, with openness to new perspectives that could lead to a better result;
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience;
  • Thoroughness, synthesis and analysis capability;
  • Very good communication skills;
  • Focus on collaboration, teamwork and customer service
  • Fluency in Excel and data visualization tools.
