Senior Organisational Change Expert

It’s an exciting time to grow your career with ING, Australia’s most recommended bank, in 2025. We have a new opportunity for a passionate and driven Senior Organisational Change Expert to join our high profile Organisational Change Expert Team.

As a Senior Organisational Change Expert, your primary purpose is to support the organisation to realise value and lasting impact from change through adopting best-in-class organisational change practices. You’ll take a (lead) role in medium to high complex assignments across the enterprise while providing coaching, advice, training, mentoring, and support to deliver change programs and initiatives.

Your key focus will be to collaborate with leaders to help define the organisational change roadmap for their programs and initiatives, and support them to execute, embed iterative and adaptive planning, foster continuous engagement and feedback loops, inform a program wide view of change delivery, risk and issues.

This is a permanent role that can be based in Sydney or Wyong. A Wyong based candidate will be expected to travel once a week to Sydney.


What you’ll do

  • Assess the impact of people, process, technology and capability uplift change, identifying high impact areas and building appropriate change strategies and plans.
  • Articulate a compelling case for change, and coach change leaders and teams on messaging, influence and behaviour modelling for their teams.
  • Define, measure, track and report on change effectiveness measures and leverage insights to further improve change efforts.
  • Provide effective coaching and support to project team and develop strategies to coach and support stakeholders to assist in managing change within their teams.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders that influence the success of implementing change, demonstrating excellent engagement skills including coach (project) team members / squads responsible for delivering change.
  • Design and deliver training, communication, operating model alignment, cultural embedding, measurement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Use, design and enhance change tools to support key activities and support the closure of the project and ensure your sponsor and teams enjoy a smooth transition to business-as-usual and see lasting benefit from the change.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar role with exposure to end to end organisational change management, preferably within financial services.
  • The flexibility to work in multi-functional and complex teams across concurrent programs and projects. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the business. 
  • The ability to work across multiple programs and projects with a pragmatic and hands on approach. Experience conducting change impact assessments is essential. 
  • Previous experience with data products or mortgages would be highly regarded but is not essential.
