ING is looking for a Senior Product Marketeer in team Savings. Within one year market rates surged from negative to positive territory, households in the Dutch market saved a record amount of 15 billion euros and new challengers are entering the retail banking market. The team

Daily Banking & Mobile Led is one of the largest tribes within ING Retail. Together with about 60 agile teams (squads) in Amsterdam, Leeuwarden and abroad we work towards becoming the best mobile-led bank of the continent. The tribe entails the products and processes associated to current accounts, savings accounts, onboarding of customers and billing. Hence, we are at the heart of the bank and provide in the daily financial needs of our customers!

You are responsible for all saving products like the Orange Savings Account, Savings goals and Fix term deposits. The team is responsible for the proposition, product capabilities, IT development and marketing. Together with your colleague customer journey experts and IT-engineers, you strive towards realizing the best customer experience for our customers and employees according to ING’s customer experience principles: personal, easy and smart.

Roles and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced commercial minded professional who will support growth, customer activation and seasonal campaigns. You’ll be agile, self-starting, and seek to make big impact. As a Senior Product Marketeer, you:

  • Play a leading role in developing vision and strategy for recruiting customers for savings
  • Are the expert on executing marketing activation, from an always-on layer to peak relevant seasonals such as year-end bonuses
  • Be the sparring partner for the pricing marketeers, customer journey experts and product lead savings on all marketing communication matters
  • Implement our mobile led strategy for our product: make sure our customer journeys are offered in the right channel to the right segment

You have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a financial institution
  • Thorough understanding of execution product activation campaigns
  • Are fluent in Dutch (verbally and written) and in English;
  • A firm understanding of customer needs;
  • Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills to interact with different stakeholders.
