Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in a positive and challenging environment? The Tribe Payments Settlement is seeking a passionate Product Owner to join our Squad and make a significant impact on our organization.

About the Role:

As a Product Owner, you will be at the heart of our Squad (of 8-13 people), developing its purpose, shaping the product vision, and defining the steps to achieve it. You will prioritize tasks, manage the backlog, and engage with stakeholders to deliver exceptional value to our customers. This role combines the responsibilities of a Customer Journey Expert with additional key duties, making you an integral part of the Tribe leadership team and a vital support for the Tribe Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the squad and its members in the daily tasks structured in User Stories and Features.
  • Structure and deliver the improvement required for the IT solutions and processes used to assess, grant, implement and monitor the payment activity.
  • Manage stakeholders, prioritize the backlog, and be clear about the product vision to guide your Squad, keep focus and solve impediments;
  • Deliver input to the Tribe Lead (TL) on status and plans, along with impediments, improvements and dependencies;
  • Update the TL and other PMs on new developments that can have an impact on the portfolio;
  • Be part of the Tribe leadership team;
  • Ensure that Squad improvements & development ideas are aligned with the product vision and how to get there;
  • Be accountable to get the feedback from your stakeholders & improve the Squad’s way of working & team performance.
  • In addition, belong to a Chapter based on your job function in which you continually develop your craftsmanship and way of working;
  • Ensure that Business and Tech understand and complement each other’s expertise;
  • Ensure the purpose of your Squad is aligned with the Tribe’s purpose and your main stakeholders;
  • Help your Squad to deliver value incrementally and iteratively.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Competencies / Behavior:

  • Have strong analytical & judgement skills to recognize key information, identify problem, establish connections and validate before acting;
  • Have deep knowledge of the customer’s experience and payment process and integrate acquired knowledge into performance of tasks;
  • Think in strategic priorities terms - based on professional expertise, be able to develop a long-term vision;
  • Capable of acting as a connector between squads and a very diverse set of stakeholders;
  • Capable of presenting solutions, roadmaps and milestones to higher management with the ability to simplify complexity and improve products and processes;
  • Support the agile organization & perform as a team, trust and encourage each other and give feedback to promote continuous improvement & team development.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English and in French
  • Any additional languages will be considered as an asset.

Experience:

  • Proven experience (ideally in banking/ Payment environments) in Project Management / Product Management or Product Ownership (at least 5 years of relevant experience or more)
  • Knowledge on payment/ SWIFT Message
  • Capacity to interact with different stakeholder (internal/external) and negociate contracts with our different providers.
  • Master degree preferably in Economics / Finance;
  • Good track record in change execution and goals achievement.
