Security Engineer – Strengthen Our Security Expertise at ING Hubs Slovakia

At ING Hubs Slovakia, we are continually evolving our security capabilities to stay ahead of emerging threats. As part of this effort, we are looking for a Security Consultant to reinforce our growing Security Expertise team. Your Role in Enhancing ING’s Security

Security is at the core of what we do. In this role, you will be instrumental in fortifying security measures, ensuring compliance, and actively preventing potential threats. Working closely with our team, you’ll help maintain a secure environment and contribute to ING’s long-term cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Your tasks will be tailored based on expertise and team collaboration
  • Strengthening application, system, and infrastructure security
  • Conducting risk assessments and security evaluations
  • Reviewing and implementing security controls across platforms
  • Supporting secure software development processes
  • Monitoring vulnerability management and security patching
  • Managing security alerts and incidents to ensure swift response
  • Engaging in security awareness and training initiatives across teams
  • Analyzing security data and producing risk reports
  • Assisting with third-party security compliance
  • Participating in Agile-based security initiatives and process improvements

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in IT security, infrastructure, and risk management (4+ years)
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, policies, and best practices
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, databases, and network security
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CISA, CISM, etc.) are a plus

Additional Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Power BI or Excel for security reporting is beneficial
  • Fluent in English (C1)
  • Proactive approach with a can-do attitude

Wage (gross)

2.321 EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
