Lead Engineer Cloud Back End

@ING We’re trying to innovate our cloud offering and build the newest version of the ING Private Cloud also known as IPC.

You’ll be part of a strategic initiative that looks to modernize and simplify our cloud offering.

The team
Part of the simplification is the creation of insight for the users of the private cloud, insights in consumption, performance and compliance. As such you’ll be asked to design and create working proof of concepts solutions that when validated can be turned into self-service solutions for our users, both internally and externally. You’ll be part of the creating the foundation on which the entirety of the ING IT landscape is built upon.

Required: 

• You have experience of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible

• You have broad knowledge of modern backend frameworks, tools, and architecture specifically for cloud solutions

• You understand data models and love to improve on them

• You know how to translate requirements into a high-quality design

• You have experience with Agile PACE ( Product and Cycle-time Excellence)

• You know how to optimize performance by using metrics and monitoring tools as stated above

Good to have: 

• You understand CI/CD concepts & methodology and have experience with modern pipelines

• Extensive knowledge about Git, Git Flow, cloud strategies. 

• Exposure to working in multi-Cloud environments.
