Your Tasks

• You develop and design customised IT solutions with a focus on microservices.
• Moreover, you assume end-to-end responsibility for the entire software development process by thoroughly analysing the status quo, creating technical conceptions, designing distributed and modern IT architectures in the Java environment and finally by implementing, testing, and documenting.
• You see the big picture in every detail and not only further develop existing applications but also bring you own creative ideas when it comes to completely new developments.
• Furthermore, you are adept at maintaining and developing central database structures in SQL and creating unit and integration tests.
• By closely examining and evaluating our processes and IT solutions, you find potential for improvement and provide important input for increasing our software quality.

Your Profile

• Degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practice in software engineering with Java (software development & design, IT architecture, test & documentation)
• Ideal tech stack: Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka, Maven, Git and IntelliJ as well as advanced knowledge in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Enjoy agile working (Scrum / Kanban)
• Structured and independent way of working
• Creative, communicative and customer-oriented
• Able to inspire others
• Very good English both written and spoken
