Securities Settlements Analyst

Title: FM Securities Overview: You will work in the dynamic world of Financial Markets and will focus on Operations. The Global Service Organization Financial Markets is one of three locations globally responsible for the processing of all trades concluded by ING Front Office traders globally. Although you will need to complete daily tasks individually, the team relies heavily on each other to ensure all problems and tasks are completed in a timely fashion. You will also be working in close contact with the Amsterdam-based Operations team in order to ensure all tasks are completed well and on time. You have a background in Finance, Economics, or other technical trade and have an interest in financial markets. Also, you are willing to work occasionally on public holidays and during European service hours. As you will be part of an international team composed of people in both Amsterdam and Manila, you need to enjoy working in a culturally diverse team. If you are good at: • Investigating and resolving in a timely manner financial and positional breaks related to Corporate Actions and ING and Client issuance programs • Typically solves complex problems related to Corporate Actions using existing procedures and solutions • Monitoring of SWIFT messages related to Cash Dividends and Dividend with Options • Booking of Cash Dividend, Dividend with Options and Tax Ledgers • Monitoring, processing and instructing Bond Conversions If you are: A professional and mature individual displaying the following behaviours: • You are analytical, flexible, open-minded, a team player • You can deal with tight deadlines • You have a client driven approach • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal • MS Office proficient • Able to adapt in a fast-paced working environment If you can: • Process coupon income for fixed income securities which includes creation of individual reconciliation sheets, sending claims to counterparties, payment and receipt of coupon • Payment of interest claims, redemptions, dividends and other distributions of securities on behalf of ING and our Clients • Prepare and process coupon notices and rate advices • Generate, process and send custodian-related fees • Act as a support to various processes of Paying Agency Services by handling Fund Agency Input, PAS Reconciliation, Pas Fees and Invoices, PAS Coupon and Redemption Schedule.
