Non Financial Risk Expert with Project Management Skill

Key Responsibilities:

As a, NFR Expert

  • Steer different Change Initiatives of ING Analytics team as a NFR & Compliance expert supporting respective Project Manager (PM)/ Product Owner (PO) from different Tribes within the Bank. NFR expert should steer (Non) Gen AI Change Initiatives by Identifying, assessing, updating applicable controls and mitigations actions and obtaining   2nd line of Defence (2LOD) approval while working closely together with PO/ PM and other cross functional stakeholders.  
  • Perform risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) of risk Journey life cycle of (Non) Gen AI Change Initiatives of the bank, and support performing other various Risk Assessments associated with change initiatives such as DPIA, BIA, LIA, FRAs, and scenario analysis.
  • Provides expert advice and guidance on risk-related matters to PO/PMs and senior management and other stakeholders demonstrating risk expertise capabilities with technical developments in AI, enabling them to effectively manage emerging risks and thereby creating predictable risk journey.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements applicable for banking & Financial Sector, and strict compliance of relevant AI governance frameworks (e.g. Data Privacy, EU AI Act, GPDP regulations and fair understanding of IT security standards).

As a Project Manager

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of the organization’s (Non) Gen AI risk management journey from initiation to delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to facilitate timely delivery and execution of change initiatives.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with data scientists, data developers, 2nd line defence representing IT, NFR, Compliance, Model Risk, Legal, DPOs, Compliance teams etc… to ensure timely developments of tools and applications, ensure responsible AI usage, compliance to internal and regulatory standards and obtaining necessary 2LOD approvals.
  • Proactively engage with senior stakeholders to communicate complex risk and AI-related topics in a clear, actionable manner, ensure timely delivery and follow up on agreed actions with respective actions owners.
  • Prepare and present Change Initiatives/projects updates to via risk reports and dashboards to senior management and executive committees
  • Stay current with AI governance frameworks, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.

What you bring to the team

  • 3-5 Experience in overall Project management, coordination, and reporting.
  • Excellent skill in meeting project deliverables within specific time frame and positive stakeholder management
  • 3+ years' experience in risk management in banking sector, technology (cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, IT architect, IT engineer) or IT consultancy
  • Hands on experience in performing and coordinating RCSAs and other risk assessments specified above.
  • Control oriented and analytical thinking/ judgement aimed on assessing specific risks associated with (Non) Gen AI change initiatives.
  • A real team player with excellent written and oral communication skills while interacting with many departments within the organization
  • English is mandatory

Wage (gross)

  • 2 550 EUR/month
  • *By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
