The Hybrid Cloud Tribe assists ING engineers in seamlessly and compliantly utilizing Public Cloud services to deliver consistent products and services globally. Our mission is to simplify and streamline the onboarding, consumption and governance of Public Cloud resources.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As the Chapter Lead Engineer, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers working on the Public Cloud platforms. These engineers will focus on various areas within the Azure and GCP platforms we support, including:

  • Networking, connectivity between clouds and resources within clouds.

  • Core, managing features such as subscription creation and automation

  • Data, collect and analyze data related to policies and compliance

  • Enablement, creating Terraform modules and CI/CD templates for consumers

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with IT Area Leads and other Chapter Leads to ensure both personal and professional satisfaction within the engineering team

  • Guiding and mentoring chapter members to foster growth and strengthen the engineering teams

  • Defining and implementing ways of working to ensure quality and ownership of deliverables through sprints

  • Enhancing team predictability and consistency in deliverables

  • Provide guidance and support to the team through technical challenges

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision making

  • Take ownership of line management tasks, including hiring new employees and assessing the performance of current employees

  • Exhibit a curious mindset and a learn-it-all attitude

    • A salary between € 6.176 - 9.871

    • 24-27 vacation days depending on contract
