ING Corporate Sector Lending Netherlands (CSL) offers an intern opportunity in Amsterdam within our Corporate Sector Lending International Team.

You will be supporting the CSL International Team and work in close cooperation with team members and will receive enthusiastic coaching. We offer you plenty of room to grow, great networking possibilities and an international work environment.

The team

The CSL department services the largest Dutch multinationals as well as subsidiaries of the foreign multinationals. We offer various banking products, including Overdrafts, Revolving Credit Facilities and Trade Facilities. Our department consists of highly motivated professionals that work across four different teams: Industrials, Retail & Services, Internationals, and RMLA. Your position will be in the CSL International Team.

Roles and responsibilities

As Intern you:

  • Support Transaction Managers on structuring and execution of new transactions which are predominantly related to Transaction Services and Lending related products.
  • Assist in preparing and write credit applications.
  • Prepare portfolio reports and loan templates and be the contact person for this towards external and internal partners, e.g. inquiries from ING Risk Controlling, international ING colleagues, customer representatives, auditors, internal and external auditors.
  • Experience the importance of regulatory changes impact Banking and help coordinate various projects for CSL NL to remain data and regulatory compliant.
  • Support and service international clients.
  • Learn about internal Lending procedures and finance processes by collaborating with colleagues from various departments.

  • You are a MBO or HBO/WO student in the field of economics/finance/international business management.
  • You have knowledge of Excel and an eye for detail.
  • You love to collaborate; are a team player.
  • You have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • You are pro-active in finding creative solutions.
