At ING, we believe it’s your ideas, not your age that matter. As part of our team, you’ll work in a dynamic, international environment where you learn at a fast pace and be hands-on from the start.
Working in this role means working in a highly dynamic international, changeable and challenging environment where you will work with a wide variety of departments on all levels.

The Team
You will become part of the Corporate Legal team of approximately 10 lawyers and together you will take on a varied and extensive breadth of work within the Corporate Legal Affairs department.
The Corporate Legal team has responsibility for providing concise, comprehensive legal advice on corporate law and governance related matters including corporate governance, shareholders’ meetings, annual reports, intra-group transactions, M&A, internal processes, etc.

Role and Responsibilities

  • analyzing, mapping and improving the application of legal processes and procedures by ING Group;
  • analyzing and mapping ING’s corporate entity history as a basis for future enquiries; and
  • closely cooperate with colleagues with a clear focus on harmonization and knowledge sharing.

How to succeed
We hire smart people like you for your potential, not your past. Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on more responsibility. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.
To take on this challenging and rewarding opportunity, you’ll need:

  • to be a Master or Bachelor student with a strong interest in corporate law and corporate governance;
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • high ambition and energy level;

  • fluency in business English and ideally oral proficiency in Dutch.

What we offer
This is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field. You’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank, but also about yourself and whether this type of environment is right for you.
You’ll also benefit from:

  • Internship allowance of 700 EUR based on a 36 hours work week
  • Your own work laptop
  • Hybrid working to blend home working for focus and office working for collaboration and co-creation
  • Personal growth and challenging work with endless possibilities
  • An informal working environment with innovative colleagues
