Job Details

ING’s Equity Capital Markets Syndicate team has a vacant internship position with starting date from September 2025 onwards with a duration of 5 to 6 months (to be agreed).

The team

Equity Capital Markets (ECM) is a joint venture between ING’s Corporate Finance and Global Capital Markets departments and advises companies on equity capital raising on international stock markets. Products covered by ECM include Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), technical listings, follow-on equity issuances, secondary offerings, share buybacks, preference shares issuances and equity-linked transactions.

Our team has a strong track record of assisting and advising public and private companies, local and international financial sponsors and governments in structuring and executing a wide variety of equity and equity-linked transactions, evidenced by our recent involvement in the blockbuster IPOs of Talabat, Zabka, Springer Nature, CVC, Galderma, and many more. Together with our Financial Markets teams (i.e. Equity Research, Equity Sales, Equity Sales Trading, Corporate Access, and more), we originate, structure, execute and distribute equity and equity-linked instruments to institutional investors and Benelux retail investors.

Equity Capital Markets Syndicate is an integral part of the ECM team and is responsible for market execution of global ECM transactions (i.e. equity placement, distribution, bookbuilding and price setting of ECM deals), coordination of investor marketing and interaction with both institutional investors and issuers. The ECM Syndicate desk can be seen as a linking pin between stakeholders such as an issuer, Corporate Finance and Financial Markets teams, and institutional investors. Our desk is located at ING’s dealing room in Amsterdam.
