We are looking for a highly skilled Change Manager and IT  Continuity Coordinator to join our WB TECH Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team.

In the  role you are responsible for the Disaster Recovery and Change coordination.
For the change process you will be responsible for overseeing, improving, and ensuring smooth execution of changes within our WB Tech services. You will work closely with Domain Change managers  of the WB Tech domains. And will be the representative on behalf of WB Tech in the change advisory boards. In addition, you will perform quality controls and report on changes.

The team
The IT Continuity Coordinator is responsible for developing, organizing, implementing, and maintaining recovery plans and (test)procedures to ensure the continuity of our WB TECH IT services. This role involves coordinating with various IT teams, conducting risk assessments, performing tests, and ensuring compliance with ING standards and regulations.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Participate in the Chm Guild to contribute to change management process improvements and ensure compliance with the change management process (e.g., timely closure of changes).
  • Ensure all changes are properly planned, reviewed, and approved to minimize service disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Domain Change managers to assess and mitigate risks associated with changes.
  • CDCB (Cross Domain Control Board) representative for WB Tech.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.
  • Monitor and report on the success and impact of changes, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop, maintain, and update IT disaster recovery plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure DR strategies align with business continuity planning.
  • Coordinate and conduct testing to validate IT continuity capabilities.
  • Maintain IT-Continuity documentation, including system recovery procedures, contact lists, and escalation processes. 
  • Provide training and awareness programs on Change and IT Continuity processes.
  • Analyse and report on IT Continuity test results, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
  • Experience in Change Management or IT Continuity Management.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes Change Management and Configuration Management and Agile principles
  • Technical affinity (understanding of technical infrastructure).
  • Knowledge of Service Management Tool ServiceNow is a pre.
  • Be able to have an umbrella view on the IT landscape.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and process management skills.
  • Familiarity with pipelines, cloud infrastructure and networking and automation tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • On-call = standby (also in the weekends) availability for emergency response situations
  • Preferably on premise attendance for IT Continuity (test) coordination. (minimal 8 weekend attendance per year).
