ING Regulatory Transaction Reporting (RTR) delivers transaction reporting services globally to various internal entities and ING’s counterparties.

In this role as product owner, you will support design and development of product and platform capabilities supporting delivery of transaction reporting services. You will partner with cross functional teams across our transaction reporting experts, technology, legal, financial markets, and other product groups to design product features and solutions that support RTR’s strategy and priorities. This role requires expert product ownership skills with a focus on collaboration, agile processes, prioritization, and project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or support a variety of key product initiatives simultaneously from concept to implementation.

  • Prioritize and manage product backlog, ensuring that it is refined, up-to-date, and aligned with RTR’s product vision and goals.

  • Resolve problems and partner with peers, technical teams and internal stakeholders to provide timely resolution.

  • Work closely with transaction reporting specialist, regulatory operations, other product managers to acquire and document business requirements to build, manage and maintain product documentation, user stories, and process flows.

  • Engage with technical teams throughout the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development support, testing, and deployment.

  • Provide guidance and clarification to the technical teams during the implementation of user stories, answering questions and resolving any ambiguities that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Product Owner or similar role.

  • Experience working in Financial Services Industry a strong plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a strong track record of cross-team collaboration.

  • Ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyse complex problems, identify patterns, and propose solutions.
