The Creative Studio team at the Centre of Expertise (CoE) Brand, Marketing & Communications is looking for a Videographer and Editor to drive the creation of high-quality, on-brand video content that differentiates ING in the market. This includes a range of creative productions, from online video content to digital design, podcasts and native social assets.

As a bank and one of the most familiar brands in the Netherlands, working for the CoE requires the ability to work in a highly dynamic and complex landscape, servicing the wide base of ING customers as well as all product tribes and business lines within ING NL.

The team
As Videographer and Editor, you’ll join the Creative Studio team and report to the Head of the Creative Studio. The team’s purpose is to develop and execute creative productions that engage both internal (employee) and external target audiences, ensuring output is on-brand, effective, and efficient.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Filming: Plan, shoot, and capture high-quality video content for various platforms. From ING’s social media accounts to live events and internal platforms such as Viva Engage.

  • Settings:  You have experience filming in various settings, including location shoots, live events, talk show settings and video podcasts. You are comfortable using single and multiple cameras and are well versed in reportage, cameo-style and studio shoots.

  • Editing: Handle all aspects of video editing, including colour correction, sound design, and post-production. Being end-to-end responsible for creating outstanding creatives.

  • Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative team to turn creative briefs into video concepts and scripts that align with brand and business objectives and ING’s brand identity.

  • Storytelling: Translate briefs into compelling stories that are appealing to target audiences and embody the ING brand. Besides the visual aspect you are excited about the content of the video (e.g. the narrative and interview questions).

  • Scripts: Create attention grabbing scripts to guide the video production process.

  • Post-Production: Ensure all video content is polished and meets the brand’s standards.

  • Equipment Management: Maintain and manage video production equipment.

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging video content for both internal (employee) and external audiences.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Producer and Creative Designer to ensure cohesive and effective creative outputs.

How to succeed

  • Experience: At least 3 years’ of experience in video production and editing within a creative agency or marketing environment.

  • Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), strong storytelling and visual composition skills, creative thinking, and the ability to develop engaging video concepts.

  • Degree: A degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred.

  • Capabilities: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a keen eye for detail.
