4 Months Internship 2025– Belgium M&A Team

Brussels – Corporate Finance

Start date: As of September 2025

Overview of the role

For the duration of your internship you will be working with the Belgian ING Mid-market M&A team in Brussels and will have the opportunity to get first-hand M&A experience. You will be expected to work on active corporate finance transactions and prospects as well as assist in the research and analysis of different companies and sectors.

Key responsibilities

·Drafting tailored pitches for potential clients

·In-depth industry analysis as well as review of companies’ strategy and financials

·Gather data/information regarding potential acquisition opportunities

·Analysis of & feasibility judgement on acquisition opportunities

·Attend internal calls and meetings

·Provide input and basic editing of Excel-based models, including high level valuations

Qualifications, experience and competencies required

·Strong academic performance

·Solid analytical and numerical skills

·Fast learner and energetic team player

·Stress resistant, flexible & able to meet stringent deadlines

·Pro-active mind-set

·Good command in French, English and Dutch

·Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
