As an Event Manager, you create memorable experiences that bring ING's strategy, brand and relationships to life. From high-profile client events and corporate initiatives to internal engagements and digital formats, you transform business objectives into impactful experiences that deliver real value.


You own the end-to-end event journey, working closely with stakeholders, suppliers and partners to ensure every event is professionally delivered, strategically aligned and measured for impact.

This is a role for someone who combines creativity with structure, thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys turning ideas into exceptional experiences.


What you'll be doing

Create and deliver impactful events

  • Translate business objectives into compelling event concepts and participant experiences.
  • Lead the complete event lifecycle, from briefing and planning to execution, evaluation and follow-up.
  • Deliver a diverse portfolio of on-site, hybrid and online events.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, production schedules and project plans.
  • Ensure a seamless participant experience before, during and after every event.
  • Act as the on-site lead and confidently manage unexpected situations when they arise.

Partner with stakeholders

  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Understand business needs and translate them into effective event solutions.
  • Challenge ideas constructively and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Coordinate all parties involved and ensure clear communication throughout each project.

Manage suppliers and budgets

  • Brief, coordinate and evaluate agencies, production partners and suppliers.
  • Manage requests for proposal, quotations and supplier selection processes.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
  • Negotiate where appropriate while maintaining quality and value.
  • Build strong partnerships that support excellent event delivery.

Drive operational excellence

  • Coordinate logistics, event materials and practical arrangements.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve event processes.
  • Develop tools, templates and best practices that increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous development of the team.

Measure impact

  • Define clear objectives and success measures for every event.
  • Gather feedback and analyse performance data.
  • Translate insights into recommendations and continuous improvements.
  • Ensure events create measurable value and support business priorities.

How to succeed

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in event management with proven end-to-end event delivery experience.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with agencies, suppliers and external partners.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering projects within agreed parameters.
  • A proactive, organised and solution-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Professional proficiency in English, Dutch and French
