The Mission

As a DevOps Engineer you look after the availability, reliability of the EBICS supporting applications. The impact of what you are responsible for is huge. The field evolves fast and staying up-to-date and exercising technical leadership to help the organization stay at the forefront is of paramount importance.

The squad operates partially vendor based and partially own developed(Python/Java) applications.

Your day to day

  • Supporting internal customers and Troubleshooting critical production issues acrossa platforms and applications as required

  • Carry out production deployments, identifying and patching bugs and reducing inefficiencies

  • Building and maintaining monitoring and reporting frameworks as well as tools used to streamline and automate tasks throughout the platform lifecycle; eg: Prometheus, ELK stack

  • Create, facilitate and evangelize automated workflows

  • Provide the evidence to cover the required risk controls AzureDevOps, automated build and deployment process based on the CD/CI  tools provided in the Azure DevOps and using internal private cloud (VMs andOpenShift).

  • Pipeline as a code with YAML

  • Developing automated confirmation management based on Ansible to be able to automate setup of our VMs/containers (e.g. certificates, monitoring tools)

  • Various technologies including, but not limited to Ansible, Python, RHEL,Kibana, Oracle database, Azure DevOps tools, OpenShift/Docker

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Relevant experience in an Ops/DevOps/TechOps/SRE role

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred

  • Knowledge of a scripting language like Python/Bash

  • Experience working in LINUX environments (sysadmin, patching, debugging)

  • Experience with modern CI/CD tools

  • Ansible (or other automation configuration tool) experience is preferred

  • Experience with modern Monitoring Tooling like Prometheus and ElasticStack

  • Knowledge of encryption, hashing mechanisms (e.g. PKI, RSA, SHA, DES, AES)

  • Experience with Oracle Database is nice to have

  • Experience with EBICS payment systems is nice to have

  • A desire to learn new technologies and evolve with an ever changing industry

  • Accurate in managing the IT related Compliancy and Risk controls

  • Accurate in documenting and following procedures
