The Mission

The Transformation & Operational Management team at Client Services Business in Belgium is looking for a Workforce management Expert to assist the team in its daily WFM activities.
The specialist be based in ING HUBS Romania and will report functionally to the lead of the Transformation & Operational Management team in Belgium.

You will be directly working with the WFM Expert in Belgium.

Your day to day:

You will be in close collaboration with the WFM expert in Belgium in the daily forecasting and WFM tasks.
Our main goal as a team is to offer a complete WFM solution for the Client Services Business area:

  • Help the leadership manage their team with capacity planners (including daily presence, holidays, sick days…);
  • Provide ongoing insights in past, present and future workloads and FTE needs (forecasting/reforecasting);
  • Pro-actively develop, maintain and improve reports/tools that combine staffing, forecasted workload and actual workload data;
  • You set up forecasts and maintain existing ones;
  • You support the team in various WFM related tasks;
  • You engage and work together with the local stakeholders on improving the WFM processes;
  • You work on improving forecasting accuracy;
  • You understand the WFM process of all the teams in our scope, which enables you to detect room for improvements.

You will be an active partner in the business when it comes to WFM related topics. Don’t stop at just providing data, be an advisor when you see fit.

Your job will be a mix of forecasting tasks, run tasks, change tasks and analysis and advice.

Our forecasts are created in Calabrio WFM, other custom-made tools are made in Excel.
With your experience you should be able to work autonomously on your tasks, under guidance of the team in Belgium.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Experience in workforce management of minimum 3 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or minimum 3 years of relevant experience).
  • Experience in working with Calabrio WFM is preferred. Similar experience in another WFM tool is an absolute minimum.
  • Experience with working with forecasting algorithms and scheduling tools, mainly but not exclusively for non-call teams.
  • You are very fluent in using Excel.
  • Experience in other MS 365 tools/applications (VBA, Power Query, Power BI...) is a plus;
  • You excel in working with figures and can translate data in clear and insightful reports or dashboards;
  • You have a structured way of working and an eye for detail;
  • You are a fast learner and can deliver results quickly;
  • You have a pro-active mindset and can-do attitude;
  • You are open to/or have experience with new technologies (alternative tools, working with AI...);
  • Experience in working together with your business partners and have the ability to explain your work to non-WFM experts;
  • You can translate needs and demands in concrete solutions and you have adequate communicational skills to ask the questions to get there;
  • You are not afraid to challenge requests but only to ensure the best possible result;
  • Fluency in English and experience with working in cross-country teams.
