SRE Lead

We are looking for you, if you:

  • have 6-12 years of experience in IT Delivery and/or Development,
  • have managerial experience,
  • are familiar with SRE concept,
  • can easily collaborate with different organizational levels: from specialist to senior management,
  • have a great presentation skill and fluent English,
  • can coordinate and steer complex initiatives.

You'll get extra points for:

  • in-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD systems,
  • understanding of monitoring and alerting tools.

Your responsibilities:

  • lead the SRE program within global CISO organization,
  • implement the SRE strategy aligned with the overall IT and security goals,
  • collaborate with central SRE Team and Enterprise Architecture Team on standards and best practises,
  • collaborate with CISO Leadership to align SRE initiatives with defined objectives,
  • report functionally to global Head of SRE and IT Resilience,
  • provide leadership to CISO SRE Team,
  • foster the culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across DevOps teams,
  • implement and improve incidents, problem and change management processes to minimize possible downtimes and improve service reliability,
  • lead major incidents response efforts and ensure timely resolution,
  • drive the development and implementation of automation tools.

Information about squad:

In this job position, you will be responsible for successful SRE program roll-out within ING global CISO organization located in Netherlands and Poland.

You will have an opportunity to work with world-class cyber security and identity and access management professionals as well as CISO management Team.

By taking this role you will directly contribute to improvements of the reliability of ING’s critical services worldwide.
