HR officer – FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS

Our Human Resources team has a People Vision - to build the craftsmanship and engagement of everyone at ING for them to deliver on the purpose and the strategy of our bank. We do this by creating greater leaders and better managers and by offering people services that create a differentiating employee experience.

In order to deliver the People Vision, our Human Resources team consists of three focus areas: People Services, Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners.

As our HR Officer, you will be a member of the HR People Services Team.

Job description

The purpose of the HR officer role is to play a key role in supporting the HR operations and employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding steps.

Specifically, you are responsible for running the administrative part of these activities, ensuring the HR operations are compliant with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Being an HR professional and collaborating tightly with HRBPs and HR Center of Expertise, this role is instrumental in supporting the HR organization as an “employee centric” service delivery organization, where employees and manager easily find support they are looking for.

The role reports to the Head People Services.

As our HR Officer, you will manage:

  • HR operations support: you will be responsible for the administrative part of HR operations, including employees’ moves (entries, exits, internal mobility, etc). You will take an active part in the onboarding and offboarding experiences, in charge of setting up employees’ files and ensuring they are fully compliant with the internal procedures.
  • Time and attendance: you will be the main point of contact for employees’ time and attendance follow up and reporting with internal and external stakeholders. In that regards, you will specifically follow up on employees’ annual leave and specific leaves (sickness, parental leaves, etc…).
  • Employees benefits follow up: you will be in charge of managing the employees’ benefits (car leasing, health insurance, etc..). In that regards, you will be actively engaged in the communication with employees as well as with suppliers. As a central point of contact, you will ensure you provide appropriate information to all stakeholders and keep files up to date. 

Your profile

Competencies / Behaviour:

  • Strong interpersonal & Listening skills
  • Organizing & Executing in a flawless manner, attention to details;
  • Analysing & Proactivity.

Experience:

  • University or College degree;
  • Around 2+ years in HR matter;
  • Experience in HR processes and operations and in operating with HR Information Systems;
  • Knowledge of Workday is a great asset.

Languages:

  • Fluency in French and in English is mandatory.
