Portfolio Oversight Officer

Your role & work environment

ING Solutions Investment Management (‘ISIM’) is a subsidiary of ING Luxembourg. ISIM benefits from the status of a “Super ManCo” as it has the licenses to manage both UCITS and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).

ISIM oversees Investment Funds (mainly UCITS) distributed by ING Group entities.

Launched in 2014, ISIM is the ManCo of ING Group and is pursuing its development as a key tool for Investment Fund solutions within ING Group.

ISIM is looking for a Portfolio Oversight Officer to reinforce its team in the context of the development of its activity.

Your key responsibilities

Investment Management oversight

• Conduct due diligence reviews of the Investment Managers of our funds, which can either be internal or external;
• Organise the oversight of the delegates through monthly meetings, review and analysis of the Key Performance/Risk Indicators, preparation of reports to the Senior Management/Board, …;
• Actively contribute to the Product Approval Process and to the maintenance of processes and policies;

ESG – Sustainability

• Within the structure of the ManCo, the Portfolio Oversight function is the expertise center for ESG. In your function you should be able to answer all related ESG questions;
• Actively contribute in preparing ESG reporting and in filing and maintaining ESG-labels for our funds;
• Follow up the evolution of ESG requirements and related market practice.  

Change Management

• Actively participate and support in any projects linked to the ManCo for which the support of the Portfolio Oversight function is required.

As a Portfolio Oversight Officer you will also need:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• Experience as a Portfolio Manager is a strong asset
• Fluency in English and Dutch; other languages are a plus
• Strong knowledge of the fund industry, UCITS/AIF regulations, and multi-asset portfolio management
• Experience with alternative funds is an asset
• Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, responsible, and autonomous team player with strong communication skills
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Temenos AAA, Aladdin, and other portfolio/risk tools is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
