Securities & Financial Markets Support Settlement Officer

ING Luxembourg is looking for a full time equivalent Settlement Officer for the Securities & Financial Markets Support department.

Job Description

As a Settlement Officer you are responsible for handling the operational tasks in the daily Securities and Financial Markets Support activities.

The Settlement officer is in charge of the full process of Securities and Financial Markets transactions from the order acquisition to the settlement of the trade.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You will manage the end-to-end process of investment orders, initiation, trade confirmation matching, booking, settlement and reconciliation process.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring the settlement of the transactions including claims and penalties follow up.
  • You will be in charge of transactional fees set up.
  • You will monitor the reporting obligations (EMIR, MIFIR).
  • You will be in contact with various stakeholders, internal and external clients, brokers, transfer agents, custodians.

Your Profile

  • University education (Bachelor or Master's degree) preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Custody, Transaction or Settlement Services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding on investment products
  • Experience with regulatory reporting is an asset.
