Job Overview

As a Finance Business Partner within the Sectors/Products/Business Support & MI FBA Team, you will provide financial advice and management information to senior leaders across Wholesale Banking HQ departments. You’ll play a key role in enabling business units to meet their financial KPIs through insightful analysis, planning coordination, and performance challenge.

Based in Makati, Philippines, you will functionally report to the Lead of either the Finance Advice WB Sectors or Products team. You’ll collaborate closely with global finance teams and operate in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich international environment.

This role requires a forward-thinking and innovative mindset, with a strong focus on improving how data is analyzed, interpreted, and used to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver financial advice, analysis, and management information to Head of the Wholesale baking across WB Sectors and Products.
  • Perform Flash and Actuals reporting for your area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate the Dynamic Plan and Rolling Forecast processes for your assigned domain within WB Netherlands.
  • Ensure high data quality in management accounting systems, including MIS One Bank and Value Reporter.
  • Drive automation and reduce manual processes in reporting and analysis.
  • Respond to ad hoc business analysis requests, providing timely and actionable insights.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other WB functions, supporting performance improvement and constructively challenging forecasts and assumptions.
  • Collaborate with global and HQ finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting and planning.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and enhance analytical approaches, leveraging tools and techniques to improve insight generation and decision support.

Key Capabilities/Experience & Minimum Qualifications

You bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications are a plus.
  • 7–10 years of experience in FP&A, financial advisory, or reporting roles, preferably in Wholesale Banking.
  • Proven ability to translate financial analysis into actionable business advice.
  • Strong technical experience in business analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SmartView, Hyperion, Essbase, or TM1.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to build powerful presentations and reports.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong learning agility, a self-starting mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and driving efficiency through automation.
  • The ability to challenge assumptions, analyze problems pragmatically, and offer convincing recommendations.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders across WB Business, other WB Finance FBA teams, and global Finance teams.
