Job Description:

Work with the Financial Services Finance team which covers various services and lending, financial markets and capital markets products for financial institutions. Responsible for structuring new transactions by analyzing risk and return; developing cash flow debt models from scratch; executing new transactions including due diligence; preparing internal approvals (green light memos, credit applications), documentation and closing; and performing onboarding of clients and borrowers, and KYC. Assist in development of client strategies such as capital structuring or M&A transactions through coordination with other product teams including FM, DCM, Syndications, Corporate Finance. Assist in development of market intelligence and industry expertise by preparing market updates and research. Perform portfolio management including preparing and processing annual credit reviews, preparing and processing loan modification and amendment requests, tracking covenant compliance and maintaining internal portfolio tracking metrics. Review legal documentation, maintain credit files and loan documentation. Prepare periodic pipeline and profitability reports. Support the team to ensure timely and accurate response to internal and external regulatory controls and audits by providing required insights, reports and samples. Stay up-to-date on organizational operating policies and procedures to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance and minimum 2 years of experience in any occupation of Investment Associate, Analyst or related. Must have experience working with: performing credit risk analysis; financial modeling to project performance and evaluate risk exposure; GAAP accounting principles and core financial statements including Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet; key financial markets including private credit market and bond market; credit products including credit fund, notes, and ABS; industry intelligence including Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and Preqin; writing credit memos and developing credit approval packages; conducting due diligence on prospective and existing clients; selecting, originating and executing deals including drafting term sheet and reviewing loan documentation; and managing credit portfolios for covenant compliance and reporting requirements.
