We’re looking for a Credit Policy Analyst who thrives on solving complex problems, optimising credit strategies, and driving meaningful change. If you're passionate about using data to uncover opportunities, influence policy, and shape smarter lending decisions, this is your chance to make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

Working in the 1st Line Business Banking Team you will:

  • Optimise credit policies and settings to balance risk and reward, supporting sustainable portfolio growth and improved ROE.
  • Identify new customer segments and policy opportunities using data-driven insights and independent analysis.
  • Recommend and implement policy changes backed by strong commercial reasoning and evidence.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve portfolio quality
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance credit processes and improve customer experience.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8+ years in Financial Services, with deep expertise in credit risk, lending products, or credit operations.
  • Proven experience in credit policy optimisation and portfolio analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to identify and act on opportunities.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills- both oral and written
  • Proactivity and an ability work independently and drive outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of Commercial Lending (CRE & SME).
