Job Description

Your role as Relationship Manager at Corporate Sector Coverage Team @ ING Bulgaria :

Manage the relationship with international corporate clients assigned (LAM clients), with the purpose to originate new business and cross-sell the full range of ING products to achieve the maximized overall client profitability. Participate actively in internal and external marketing activities of the team and/or branch, internal and external events organized by ING Bulgaria. Support corridors of collaboration with other ING network locations and/or products. Provides assistance and support to Parent Account Managers for managing of their existing client portfolios and new clients’ acquisitions.

Key responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of predominantly international LAM clients.

Take a lead in the administration of the entire client relationship, including the onboarding of new clients and products, ensuring the appropriate compliance and regulatory requirements are met (“Know Your Customer”).

Take an active role in identifying and follow-up on cross-buy opportunities.

Conduct (market and client) research and keep up to date with relevant market updates and trends to create a differentiating client experience.

Drive forward the relevant commercial and credit approval processes, and ensures timely execution of client transactions and opportunities.

Actively support the team in prospecting and onboarding new clients.

Contribute to both internal as well as external stakeholder engagement by identifying relevant stakeholders and finding out their needs/concerns and proposing adequate solutions.

Take part and contribute to internal projects and strategic initiatives.

Take ownership on regular internal and external presentations creation, including internal performance reporting.

Take the lead on front office non-financial risk responsibilities and administrative duties.  

Participate actively in internal and external marketing activities and organization of internal and external events.

Our preferred candidate:

Is a strong team player. 

Has 1-3 years’ experience in the financial sector. Preferably in a role within a commercial bank.

Is self-starter with can-do attitude that can work with a high degree of autonomy and is keen to take on responsibility.

Has customer-focused approach, understands customers’ needs and maintains effective customer and stakeholder relationship.

Can manage complexity and work under tight timelines.

Has highly collaborative personality and ability to communicate effectively with clients, ING teams and senior management.  

Is fluent in English, Bulgarian is a plus but not a hard requirement.

Pays attention to details and is driven by a search for quality in his/her work .

Is ready to face challenges and can go the extra mile when needed.

Is results driven and enjoys contributing to the team’s results. 

Enjoys client contact and is eager to learn and grow.

Enjoys exploring business opportunities with prospective clients.

Enjoys working in a learning environment and is a quick learner.

Demonstrates a strong interest in staying informed on latest news, market developments and industry trends.

Challenges the current processes and ways of doing if sees opportunity to improve.
