We aim to become the investment house of reference in Belgium, that is why we will focus on the growth of our investment solutions and investor client base. We want to differentiate ourselves in the market and grow our investor basis substantially.

To realize this ambition, we are looking for a Lead Banker who will lead a team of statutory Personal Bankers. You ensure all Personal Bankers obtain their commercial objectives, you manage a client portfolio of 50 families and you ensure we attract new investment clients in your local community.

A day in the life of a Lead Banker Personal Banking:

• You support Personal Bankers in their commercial organization, planning, lead treatment and commercial pitch of our value proposition to clients
• Through your expertise, you and your team convince new clients to invest with ING and you ensure the growth of the portfolios of your bankers.
• You represent the ING Personal Banking organization locally, both internally and externally. 
• You coach Personal Bankers to become the best version of themselves.
• You promote the usage of correct tools by Personal Bankers and you are their primary point of contact regarding operational activities
• You collaborate closely with your colleagues in the Business Development Team and RAC Investments and you actively create synergies with Private Banking & Business Banking segments
• You and your team respect MiFID regulations and regulations related to compliance and risk management

• You have a master’s degree or equivalent through experience
• You have a strong anchorage in the local life, and you enjoy creating new relationships to create business opportunities.
• You have relevant Personal Banking or investments experience (incl client portfolio management)
• You have excellent communication and coaching skills.
• You are result-oriented, have a strong commercial drive and are ready to lead by example
• You have a change mindset
• You work independently and have the needed flexibility to perform in your job
• You are French speaking with a good knowledge of Dutch and English.

The team

You lead a team of 20 Personal Bankers. You report to the Regional Lead of Personal Banking Centre/Sud. Your teams are focused on growth, realizing strong commercial results and provide excellent investment advice. You and your teams work in a hybrid way with dedicated office days.
