Deine Aufgaben

• Als Senior Product Manager bist Du die treibende Kraft für Dein Team und übernimmst die Verantwortung für unsere Inkasso- und Garnishment-Systeme – von der Produktvision bis zur klaren, umsetzbaren Roadmap, um ebenso geschäfts- wie kundenorientierte Ergebnisse zu erzielen.
• Du stellst sicher, dass die Produkte im Einklang mit der Collections-Strategie, regulatorischen Anforderungen und der globalen Ausrichtung stehen. Dabei pflegst Du ein priorisiertes Backlog und setzt Impulse für eine erfolgreiche Implementierung.
• Du verantwortest die Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Systeme, einschließlich wesentlicher Releases und regulatorischer Änderungen. Durch enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Partnern sowie durch strukturierte Tests, Abnahmen und Dokumentation sorgst Du für einen qualitativ hochwertigen operativen Betrieb.
• Als zentrale Ansprechperson bringst Du IT, Architektur, externe Dienstleister und weitere Partner auf einen Nenner und arbeitest eng mit Collections Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal und Analytics zusammen.
• In länderübergreifenden Initiativen vertrittst Du lokale Anforderungen, stellst die Einhaltung globaler Standards sicher und eskalierst proaktiv Zielkonflikte.
• Du gestaltest die Weiterentwicklung des Collections-Bereichs im Rahmen des Global Target Operating Model mit, identifizierst Handlungsbedarfe und leitest daraus konkrete Harmonisierungsmaßnahmen ab.
• Dabei behältst Du regulatorische und interne Anforderungen (z. B. MaRisk, Auslagerungs- und Data Governance-Vorgaben) im Blick, begleitest Audits und Reviews und sorgst dafür, dass Risiken und Findings transparent gemacht und konsequent adressiert werden.

Dein Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Finance, Mathematik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung als Product Owner oder Senior Business Analyst in einem komplexen, regulierten Umfeld
• Fundiertes Verständnis von Collections, Credit Risk oder angrenzenden Bankprozessen von Vorteil
• Erfahrung in der länderübergreifenden Leitung von Systemimplementierungen und komplexen Change-Initiativen
• Fähigkeit, strategische Ziele in klare, umsetzbare Backlogs und Delivery-Pläne zu übersetzen
• Sicheres Stakeholdermanagement in lokalen und globalen Matrixorganisationen sowie der Antrieb und die Energie, Teams zielgerichtet zu mobilisieren
• Strukturierte, ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise und Souveränität, um Priorisierungsentscheidungen zu treffen
• Offenheit für kulturelle Vielfalt in einem internationalen Umfeld
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your Tasks

• As Senior Product Manager, you are the guiding force for your team as you take ownership of our debt collections and garnishment systems, assuming accountability, guiding the product vision, and maintaining a clear roadmap every step of the way to deliver business- and customer-driven outcomes.
• Using your roadmap, you align the products Collections strategy, regulatory requirements, and global direction, and cultivate a concise and well-defined backlog, always knowing where to prioritise to drive impact and outcome.
• You lead the rollout of system enhancements, including major releases and regulatory changes. With your strong sense for quality and innovation, you ensure smooth delivery through close collaboration with all stakeholders, as well as structured testing, sign-off, and documentation in line with ING standards.
• As the central point of contact, you bring together IT, architecture, vendors, and other partners, while working closely with Collections Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Analytics.
• When it comes to cross-country initiatives, you represent local needs and ensure alignment with Global standards – escalating conflicts where needed.
• Everything you do drives the transformation of Collections towards the Global Target Operating Model. Here, you identify gaps, translate them into meaningful roadmap actions, and help bring global solutions to life at the local level.
• And with a strong sense of responsibility, you keep governance requirements (e.g. MaRisk, outsourcing, data governance) firmly in view, support audits and supervisory interactions, and ensure risks and issues are actively addressed and transparent.

Your Profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of practical experience as Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst working in a complex, regulated environment
• Strong understanding of Collections, Credit Risk, or adjacent banking processes is a plus
• Experience leading system implementations and complex change initiatives across multiple countries
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable backlogs and delivery plans
• Solid stakeholder management skills within local and global matrix-based organisations with the drive and energy to mobilise teams within projects
• Structured, outcome-driven way of working and comfortable making prioritisation decisions
• Open to cultural diversity in an international environment
• Fluent in German and English both written and spoken
