Devops Engineer

Description

As DevOps Engineer, you will have a key role in ensuring that everything we do has quality, stability by keeping compliance in mind. You are responsible for day-to-day activities that range from active involvement in the delivery pipeline, test automation, LCM of servers, monitoring, involved in standby, test execution for different test levels, defect management, incident and change management, test strategy, automated deployments and supporting the application in the production environment.

Key tasks

• Implementing and enforcing quality controls
• Monitoring the health of our application, using tools like Kibana, Grafana etc.
• Ensuring compliancy
• Supporting the application through ITIL processes, among which
  • Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Managing and improving the Deployment Pipeline and embedding quality controls as part of it
• Life Cycle Management of servers
  • Provisioning, patching, maintaining and decommissioning

What we expect from you

• Education
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering
• Technology, tools and process knowledge
  • Experienced in Java and Spring Boot programming 
  • Knowledge of Oracle and other database. DBA background is a plus
  • ITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
  • Experience of CI/CD practice as well as Azure Pipeline
  • Agile team experience with SCRUM
  • PowerShell scripting ability
  • Linux Knowledge
  • Defining and applying test standards & guidelines
