Our Finance Business Advice department has a strong focus on advice. We act as financial conscience via the role of business partner for WB global sectors  

You will be responsible, along with a team of 7 professionals, for the WB Global sectors domain in which you will have business partners across the organization whom you are going to provide analytics and insights and give your independent (strategic) advice.

• Provide financial result presentations, analyses and advice to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure high quality, first time right deliverables: analyze actuals and derive action points
  • Actively develop relationships with your business partners and act as a trusted advisor by supporting the leads with strategic analysis on balance sheet and risk related developments
  • Proactively look for ways to improve processes, forecasting and actual reporting
  • Able to work and deliver on a multitude of projects and business cases
• Be involved in the overall budgeting and forecasting process
  • Be responsible for providing accurate forward looking financial plans and link them with leading indicators
  • Play a strong role in challenging and aligning with business controllers and stakeholders on forecasted and actual financial developments
• Play an active role in the FBA department
  • Actively work and think along in the team to look for possible efficiencies in our processes and to improve business relevant insights

Furthermore, you have:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar;
• Understanding of Balance Sheet dynamics of financial institutions, capital, Balance Sheet Management; Profitability and profit and loss accounts including cost management
• A sincere interest in banking and a curious attitude in market developments;
• Data Savvy: broad experience with Data modeling, power-bi analytics tools, MS excel;
• Experience in translating complex / big data into sound advice: experience in giving independent strategic advice to senior management is preferred;
• Skilled in data storytelling and developing visually effective presentations.
