Tribe Investments is looking for a proactive and analytical intern to help strengthen the strategic positioning of ING’s Wealth Management proposition. The goal is to ensure ING stands out during the consideration phase of the customer journey by delivering a clear, compelling, and consistent message across channels.

This internship combines research and practical support:

  • Two days per week you will conduct a strategic research project focused on market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs.
  • Three days per week you will support ongoing projects within the Advisory Cluster, translating research insights into actionable deliverables.

The outcome of your research will include a competitive analysis, customer insights, and the development of a storyline and brochure that serve as the foundation for marketing and sales communications.

The team

You will join the Advisory Cluster within the Investments domain, a team dedicated to delivering high-quality advice and propositions for ING’s customers. We work closely with product managers, marketing, and sales to ensure our offerings meet customer needs and stand out in the market.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Conduct desk research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and positioning strategies.
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative insights from internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Develop a clear and compelling storyline and brochure for ING’s Wealth Management proposition.
  • Support ongoing projects within the Advisory Cluster by applying research findings to practical deliverables.
  • Present your findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders at the end of the internship.

For this role, we expect:

  • Strong analytical and research skills (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Ability to structure complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Interest in investments, wealth management, and strategic positioning.

Mandatory:During the internship, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU university for EU passport holders).
