As an IT Business Analyst (m/f/d) with a strong technical orientation at ING Bank, you will bridge the gap between business and technology in a fast-paced, innovation-driven banking environment. You will work closely with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions. Your experience in the financial services or FinTech sector will help you navigate regulatory requirements, complex data flows, and customer-centric product development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and model technical and business requirements in collaboration with developers, architects, and product owners
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories
  • Support system architecture design, API integration, and data flow modeling
  • Evaluate technical solutions for scalability, security, and compliance with banking regulations
  • Contribute to the adoption of modern technologies such as cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and microservices
  • Conduct impact assessments for system changes and support agile release planning

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience in the banking, FinTech, or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of IT architectures, databases, APIs (REST, SOAP), and modern software development practices
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, SAFe) with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial sector is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
