Within Client Services Business we are looking for a Business Manager who acts as a trusted advisor and run strategic projects! Do you want to be involved in strategic initiatives and work closely together with the CS Business leadership team?

The team
You will report to the Head of Transformation of Client Services Business and will be part of the Transformation Area for Client Services Business. We consists out of 5 capabilities: i) Reporting & Data Analysis, ii) Training, iii) Business Analysis, iv) Change Experts, v) Central Support (Communication, User Access Management and Incident Management)

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Business Manager you work directly with the Head of Transformation, the Area Lead Client Services Business and its management team. You will take on a wide range of responsibilities, serving as the “right hand” for the Area Lead and Head of Transformation in his/her daily responsibilities.

You will operate on a strategic, tactical and operational level. Concretely this means contributing towards strategy development, preparing management meetings and transformation steering committees, organising offsites and coordinating key organisation transformations in the domain.


We expect you to:

  • Support the Area Lead and Head of Transformation in any daily, weekly or monthly recurring activities, like preparation of the MT, creation of presentations and communication
  • Support any activities related to the CS Business strategy, such as townhalls and offsites
  • Ensure strategic people topics/priorities are addressed as well as driving the execution in cooperation with the Change Expert responsible for the People pillar
  • Ensure targets of CS Business are met by contributing to the monitoring and strategic steering
  • Act as linking pin & responsible for relationship with other business functions (e.g. Client Services Retail or Business/Wholesale Banking)
  • Support Head of Transformation and Area Lead with a variety of business management support activities
  • Act as the representative (or as delegate) at meetings on strategy or implementation for Client Services Business
  • Drive (small) projects or workstreams depending on priorities and experience

How to succeed

We are looking for a colleague who does not shy away from a chalenge and feel comfortable managing stakeholders. As Business Manager you will also need to be:

  • Collaborative person who listens & invest in others to achieve common goals
  • Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent in problem-solving, with a strong attention to detail and you have the ability to translate complex matters into simple terms
  • Highly effective in planning & organization, and delivering results and meet commitments
  • Experienced delivering clear and compelling presentations
  • Ability to work independently on various projects & activities at the same time, often under tight deadlines and able to prioritize your time accordingly
  • Ability to be a trusted advisor with the CS Business MT
  • You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems
  • Experience in usage of Office tools, especially Powerpoint (and Excel). Advantage is knowledge on industry tools such as ThinkCel
  • Relevant experience in operations or knowledge of the Business Banking or Wholesale Banking segment
  • Excellent level of English and ideally Frech and/or Dutch
