Choose Your Path – Explore Our Business Banking Domains

The International Talent Programme (ITP) in Business Banking consists of three rotations, each lasting six months. Two rotations take place in your home country, and one abroad in another ING Business Banking location. This structure allows you to explore diverse roles and customer segments, helping you build a strong foundation for your future career in banking.

During the programme, you’ll work with a wide variety of customers—from independent professionals and small family businesses to mid-sized companies and emerging tech players. You’ll gain end-to-end experience, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and contribute to strategic initiatives in areas such as lending, daily banking, M&A, sustainable finance, and customer journey design.

You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your journey based on your interests and strengths. One of your rotations can even be outside Business Banking—in areas like Risk, Tech, HR, or Wholesale Banking—giving you a broader perspective and the chance to make an impact from a different angle.

Each path is designed to help you select roles that align with your aspirations and support your development toward a permanent position. After completing the programme, you’ll transition into a role such as Product Owner, Change Expert, Lending Specialist, or Customer Journey Expert—depending on your preferences and growth.
