Your Role

As a Talent & Learning Expert, you are a driving force behind an active learning culture within our organization. You design and implement a strategic, future-oriented learning offering that meets the needs of our employees in Retail & Business Banking. You combine innovative learning methods with a strong focus on impact, effectiveness, and a project-based approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual Global Training Plan with a mix of learning formats (classroom, digital, on-the-job, coaching, etc.) aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives for PI, PBWM, BB, WB, and COO employees.
  • Analyse learning needs across teams and translate them into targeted learning interventions.
  • Define the most effective learning methods per audience, considering learning styles, context, and desired behavioural change.
  • Manage and optimize the use of Workday Learning as a learning platform. Provide clear L&D reporting and analyse learning data to generate insights and steer improvements.
  • Contribute to various L&D projects within Retail & Business Banking, taking a lead role to ensure structured and timely execution.
  • Monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements (License to Operate – L2O) for commercial staff and ensure timely and accurate delivery of required courses.
  • Act as a trainer for selected internal programs.
  • Use Excel and other analytical tools to process learning data, identify trends, and create reports that support data-driven decisions within L&D.

Your Profile

  • Experience in Talent & Learning, preferably in a complex or regulated environment (up to 5-7 years).
  • Familiarity with learning platforms (experience with Workday Learning is a plus).
  • Strong affinity with blended learning and digital learning solutions (e.g., game-based learning).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate learning data into actionable insights.
  • Solid knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and comfort with data analysis.
  • Strong project management skills: able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent instructional skills and the ability to convey knowledge clearly, structured, and inspiringly to learners.
  • Strong communication skills, customer-oriented, and collaborative with various stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written).
