Mission

The Finance Business Partnering department provides ING Romania’s external and internal stakeholders insight in its financial performance and supports the business with reviews and advice. The department oversees all financial information of ING Romania (management reporting) and consists of specialists in business advice, cost management and financial reporting.

Your day-to-day

You are a finance specialist, who can act as an independent business partner. You will take the lead in managing the cost for your area, communicating with relevant stakeholders, in performing financial analysis, following the trends and translating the results into strategic / tactical decisions. You will support your business partner with insightful financial information and analysis during the planning and forecasting processes. You will be the contact person for any question related to financial performance and you will closely liaise with the Finance Reporting & Control and Change & Governance teams in Finance to ensure a proper translation of business reality in financial figures.

  • Building and managing budget and forecast on allocated cost area, following actuals trend vs budget and forecast, explaining deviations & finding solutions for cost savings
  • Developing /building new reports to improve cost management and follow-up on specific areas
  • HO Reporting, providing support for ad-hoc and recurrent requests
  • Acting as “translator” between finance and business, anticipating the needs of the business
  • Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders with respect to delivered advice and insightful analysis.
  • Acting as finance business partner that actively influence day to day decisions, advising the responsible management
  • Collaborate with different departments to collect data, build reports and provide feedback

What you bring to the team

  • You translate the financial information into clear and actionable advice for your business partners.
  • You take responsibility and initiative, you’re open and supportive towards others and you always act with a clear purpose in mind.
  • You are relentlessly curious and proactively address customer requirements.
  • You can prepare detailed financial analysis and explain and illustrate this in an intuitive way.
  • University degree in Economics
  • Management accounting/controlling/business strategy experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
