Your Tasks

  • You set the direction for implementing and further developing our EMEA strategy for sustainable finance in the German market – always with an eye for new growth opportunities and for strengthening sustainable structures across all product groups.
  • As an inspiring leader, you take responsibility for the German Sustainable Solutions Group team and guide it with clarity, teamwork, and vision.
  • In your day-to-day business, you play a key role in originating and executing sustainable financing transactions – particularly those with green use-of-proceeds or structures linked to sustainability targets.
  • Innovation is part of your DNA: you identify potential for new products and structures, actively drive sustainable financing solutions, and develop offerings that provide genuine added value to our clients and strengthen our relationships.
  • You are the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building a strong network of specialists, advisers, and representatives from industry, finance, and government.
  • In close cooperation with our front-office teams, you acquire new clients, support existing partnerships, and continuously develop the respective client portfolios.

Your Profile

  • A Master’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on sustainability, or an equivalent qualification
  • Practice in managing financial transactions and several years of solid experience in corporate banking, ideally in structured finance, DCM, credit analysis, and/or capital structure advisory; experience with sustainable transactions is an advantage
  • Strong industry and market knowledge
  • An analytical and creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a client-focused approach
  • Confidence in providing cross-product advice to clients
  • Experience in leading teams and projects
  • A passion for driving forward a sustainable economy
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
