Junior Information Management Specialist



Are you ready for a new challenge in Procurement?We’rebuilding a brand-new team in ING Hubs Polandto support Global Procurement teamand looking for experienced professionals who want to work globally while staying connected locally.

We are looking for you if you:

  • Masterdegree or equivalentpreferablyin a relevant field, such assupply chain, (computer) engineering,business administration, or finance

  • Have6 months to 3yearsof experience insimilar role

  • Procurement Operations knowledge/experience. 

  • Data science and data analytics acumen.

  • Process improvement/continuous improvement skills

  • Experience working with offshore teams.

  • Have an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels,

  • Are proactive, independent approach and a good grasp of working in international environments,

  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to manage ambiguity and complexity,

  • Demonstratedvery goodorganizational and communication skills, work in a multi-tasking environment, and ability to prioritize tasks 

  • Very goodEnglish skills (spoken and written) (B2/C1)

  • Very goodknowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and E-Sourcing tools; experience with ERP systems or procurement tools is preferred

You'llget extra points for:

  • Analytical and data science skills

  • Quality and process orientation, ideally process improvement skillset such as a blackbelt

  • Agile and self-driven

Your responsibilities:

  • Build andmaintainuseful reports (like KPIs) for procurement

  • Support procurement team toleverageondata to make better decisions

  • Work with other departments to keep procurement dataaccurateand reliable

  • Make sure supplier information is correct and up to date

  • Track supplier performance and look for new market opportunities

  • Help improve how procurement tasks are done in the back office

  • Prepare Change Requests and ensure business implementation for (procurement) application improvements

Information about the squad:

We areseekinga highly motivated(Junior) Information managementspecialistto join our international team. In this role, you will be supporting theGlobal Supply Chain & Information Management Team. The role will be accountable forcontinuous improvement by having up-to-date process documentation, (internal) guidelines, training materials,processand data quality performance insights. Additionally, the power of analytics must be used to make sure procurement teams can work with required and relevant information for data driven decision-making.This role will work closely with the Global Information management team on a global scale.
