The Tech Track of the ING International Talent Program introduces you to a dynamic, competitive and international environment. In doing so, it prepares you for a career as a far-sighted engineer, able to truly understand the ING global IT ecosystem.

Starting with a challenging orientation phase of 18 months, you are assigned to high profile projects or jobs in different areas. After that, you move on to your first position with ING Bank.

The Tech Track will give you a thorough introduction to the fundamental aspects of this bank area. This will include knowing each aspect of the engineer job, from devops to architecture & integration, without forgetting about security.  You will also discover both the local view and the global very rich ING IT landscape whatever client segment and products that it serves. You will be assigned to specific projects before moving on to your first position with ING Bank.

What’s in it for you?

This track allows you to combine engineering skills with analytics, project management, communication, architecture & security, AI & people aspects.  Get the combination right and you could soon be heading for a management position.

Your IITP Journey within ING Luxembourg

Your journey will be an eighteen-month trip and will be consist of three six-month steps.          

  • The first step would be to act as Devops engineer or IT integrator locally in ING Luxembourg, in one of the IT business squads which handle run and change of a part of our local architecture.
  • The second step might for example be as Devops engineer or IT integrator in a ING entity on a shared platform using latest technologies.
  • Finally, you could join one of international ING projects teams to discover various aspects in which Tech people are intervening within strategic change initiatives.

What are the requirements?

To apply for the IITP you should have a recent Master’s degree and a maximum of two years of work experience. You must be fluent in English and French. But the IITP is about more than qualifications. Because what we’re really looking for is a stand-out capacity for leadership. You should be Tech-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.  You have a healthy dose of passion and are a real team player.
