ING Luxembourg is looking for a Business Lending Operations Trainee starting from October, who will be attached to our Lending & Payment Department. You will be part of a 23-strong department including Personal Lending Operations, Business Lending Operations, Real Estate Valuation and Payment teams. Please note that the future intern must be available for a minimum of 6 months and be able to provide a valid school convention covering the whole duration of the internship.

Job Description

As a trainee in our Business Lending Operations team, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our business lending operational processes while helping with production. You will be in contact with various stakeholders whether internal (Front Office, Credit Risk Management, Legal…) or external (ING Group, Notary’s Office…).

Your Mission : Take charge of the operational management of credit files

The tasks to be performed to carry out your mission will evolve according to learning ability and may include :

  • Mail processing
  • Preparing files for submission to the team of analysts
  • Drafting contracts and related annexes
  • Setting up credit
  • Processing of various requests
  • Tracking and handling of pending tasks

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • A previous experience in a lending area will be considered an asset
  • Administrative rigour, attention to detail and excellent tasks organisation
  • Strong judgment skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • High motivation to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • French and English are mandatory
